The insights that I shared with you in the last few blog posts and the one that I am sharing hereafter happen to be from a real life story. Mine. I decided to share them because I find them crucial to be in one’s life toolbox. I also see all having one thing in common, and that is how they show the abundance of life, and how interconnected and whole its segments are and how it never stops giving us answers – that’s of course, as long as we look through curious and open eyes.
Today’s story is short and straight to the point. It’s about an hour on the ice rink.
No confidence, taking it easy, historical proofs of learning-new-skills-ability, listening to instructions or ignoring them for the benefit of improvisation helped keep my balance that day.
I made a total fool of myself shifting my body weight forward then backward over the axis of my zero-friction feet blades, hovering my hands as if I could grab air to stand tall, turning in circles and not knowing how to stop, and then aiming for the wall instead, and landing flat on my chest when lucky enough not to fall on my back.
All that action, happening in a surrounding of whom the cool ones would usually call nerd-looking skaters passing me and laughing at my clumsiness.
Learning: Stay humble as within each one of us hides a fool in progress; and yours’ show time might be next. Anywhere. Anytime. Soon enough. And over again.

equilibre a renouveller chaque seconde
objectif toujours en vu
conscient des dangers mais confiant …
